Council confirms submission of draft Local Plan for independent examination
Release date: 18 July 2017
Cotswold District Council is issuing a formal notice to confirm that both the draft Local Plan and the draft Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for the District were submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 7 July 2017.
This paved the way for the appointment of a planning inspector to examine the draft Local Plan and the CIL. It is anticipated that the hearings will take place during October and November, and could possibly spill over into early December if necessary. Once the dates are confirmed, all details relating to the examination process will be advertised, made available online and also sent to all respondents.
