Don’t forget it’s FREE parking after 3 pm at Brewery and Forum car parks!
Release date: 18 March 2016
Cotswold District Council is reminding motorists that they can park for FREE every day of the week after 3 pm in the Brewery and Forum car parks in Cirencester. The offer is designed to encourage people to visit the town while the Market Place refurbishment scheme is underway, and then will continue until the end of February 2017.
Although the CDC parking team has erected signs to alert people about the offer at both sites, some have been damaged recently. As a result, the Council is erecting more signs to avoid any potential misunderstanding.
Cllr Chris Hancock, CDC Cabinet Member for Enterprise and Partnerships, says:
“The parking team is increasing the number of signs and will monitor both sites regularly to ensure that the offer is displayed prominently. We will be happy to refund fees to anyone who has paid to park at either site after 3 pm recently, provided they have retained their ticket from the machine.”
ALSO DON'T FORGET THAT THERE ARE FREE PARKING SPACES ON WEEKENDS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AT ST. JAMES'S PLACE, TETBURY ROAD (GL7 1FP) AND COTSWOLD DISTRICT COUNCIL, TRINITY ROAD (GL7 1PX).
