Census 2011
The 2011 Census took place in England and Wales on 27 March 2011. The census provides a snapshot of the population of England and Wales, and includes data on households, health, migration, length of stay (year of entry to UK), ethnic groups and national identity, religion, qualifications, employment, transport and visitors. The information is being used across a number of different sectors to support the development of policy, planning and delivery of services.
