The Employment Land Monitoring Statistics Report 2020-25 monitors the delivery of employment development across Cotswold District between 2020 and 2025. It records employment land completions, planning permissions and commitments, providing evidence on the supply and delivery of employment land to inform the preparation of the Local Plan and wider economic strategy.
The Employment Land Monitoring Statistics Report 2025-26 monitors the delivery of employment development across Cotswold District during 2025-26 and should be read alongside the monitoring report 2020-2025. It provides an update on employment land completions, permissions and commitments and helps assess the availability and delivery of employment land to support the evidence base for the emerging Local Plan.
The Employment Land Review assesses the performance of the local economy, commercial property market and the future need for employment land and floorspace across Cotswold District. It evaluates employment land requirements, reviews existing employment sites and extant allocations, and assesses future supply to inform employment policies, site allocations and the overall growth strategy of the emerging Local Plan.
The Retail & Town Centres Study provides an assessment of the health, role and function of town centres across Cotswold District and examines current and future retail and town centre needs. It reviews retail and leisure trends, spending patterns, retail capacity and the performance of centres, and provides recommendations to inform the Local Plan’s retail strategy, town centre hierarchy and policies relating to retail and other town centre uses
