The Integrated Impact Assessment incorporates Sustainability Appraisal, Health Impact Assessment and Equalities Impact Assessment. It tests the emerging Local Plan and reasonable alternatives, including alternative site options and policy choices, against social, economic, environmental, health and equality objectives to help demonstrate how the Plan has been prepared in a balanced and evidence-led way.

The Integrated Impacts Assessment Report Non-Technical Summary provides an accessible overview of the findings of the Integrated Impacts Assessment undertaken in support of the emerging Cotswold District Local Plan 2026-2043. It summarises how the Plan’s policies, site allocations and growth strategy have been assessed against environmental, social, economic, health and equality objectives, and explains how the assessment has informed the development of the emerging Local Plan.

The Viability Reports supports the Local Plan by testing whether the proposed policy requirements and infrastructure expectations can be delivered alongside development. It is used alongside the Infrastructure Delivery Plan and site delivery evidence to support a realistic and deliverable strategy.

The Habitats Regulations Assessment considers whether the emerging Local Plan could have likely significant effects on internationally protected habitats and species, either alone or in combination with other plans and projects. It assesses the potential impacts of proposed policies and site allocations on designated nature conservation sites and identifies any mitigation required to ensure compliance with the Habitats Regulations
