Registering to vote

If you are not already registered to vote, you can do so online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

You must register by midnight on Tuesday 18 June to be able to vote at this election.

Postal voting

If you would like to vote by post, you can apply online at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote.

You must apply by 5pm on Wednesday 19 June to be able to receive a postal vote for this election.

Proxy voting

If you would like to vote by proxy, you can apply online at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote

You must apply by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June to be able to vote by proxy at this election.

Voter Authority Certificates

If you don’t have an acceptable form of ID to use at the polling station, you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate.

You can apply online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

You must apply by 5pm on Wednesday 26 June to receive this document for the election on 4 July.

Parliamentary Boundary Changes

The Parliamentary Boundary Review comes into effect for this election and makes changes to the constituency you vote in. The Cotswold District has been split into two Parliamentary Constituencies, North Cotswolds and South Cotswolds.

Your poll cards and postal votes will tell you which constituency you are voting in. Areas from Stroud District Council and Tewkesbury will be voting in North Cotswolds Constituency. Areas from Stroud District Council and Wiltshire Council will be voting in South Cotswolds Constituency.
