The Local Development Scheme sets out the Council’s programme for preparing planning policy documents and associated evidence over the next three years. It provides a timetable for the preparation, consultation, examination and adoption of the Local Plan and related planning documents, helping stakeholders understand how and when planning policy will be developed.
The Cotswold Local Plan Statement of Consultation explains how residents, businesses, statutory consultees and other stakeholders have been involved in the preparation of the emerging Local Plan. It summarises the consultation undertaken at previous stages, the main issues raised through representations and how those comments have informed the development of the Regulation 19 Local Plan.
The Moreton-in-Marsh Feasibility Report assesses transport issues associated with existing and planned growth in Moreton-in-Marsh and identifies potential interventions to support future development. It evaluates transport modelling scenarios, sustainable transport measures and highway infrastructure options, including a proposed link street, to inform the delivery of Local Plan growth and the infrastructure needed to support it.
The Site Selection Topic Paper explains the Council’s approach to identifying, assessing and selecting sites for allocation within the emerging Local Plan. It sets out the methodology used to assess site suitability, availability and deliverability, summarises the findings of the site selection process, and provides the evidence and justification for proposed housing and employment site allocations.
The Settlement Role and Function Study assesses the role, function and relative sustainability of settlements across Cotswold District. It evaluates the availability of services, facilities and public transport connections within settlements and establishes a settlement hierarchy to inform the spatial strategy of the emerging Local Plan and the distribution of future growth.
